SkinScope is a non‑invasive skin analysis device that uses two light modes—a simulated daylight mode and an LED‑UV mode—to examine both visible and underlying skin concerns. Under LED‑UV light, the skin’s fluorescence highlights sub‑surface changes that are not visible in normal light, helping to guide a more accurate and personalised skincare plan.
How the examination works
During the examination, your skin is observed first under simulated daylight to assess visible issues such as spots, redness, uneven tone or shine. Then, in a darkened environment, the LED‑UV mode reveals deeper alterations: healthy skin tends to appear pale blue, while dehydration, excess oil, clogged pores and pigmentation show up in different fluorescent colours.
